What this site is

Rádio Vaivém is a community and experimental radio station based in Ponta Delgada, Azores. The site streams programming, publishes archives of shows, playlists and residencies, presents projects, and lists a shop of physical editions.

Content and rights

The texts, images, recordings and visual identity on this site belong to Rádio Vaivém or to whoever made them, and may not be reused commercially without permission. Share links freely. Music broadcast belongs to its authors and labels.

Drawings you send

By sending a drawing you allow us to show it on the site and use it in the station's materials — as a show's artwork, for example. You remain the author: you can ask us to take it down whenever you like, and we will.

Do not send drawings that are not yours, or offensive content. We review drawings before publishing and may decline without explanation.

Chat

The chat is public and moderated after the fact. No insults, threats, hate speech or advertising. We may delete messages and block access. Messages disappear on their own after a few hours.

Shop and reservations

The shop is physical. The form on the site is a reservation, not a purchase: there is no online payment, and a reservation is only confirmed once we have spoken to you. You can collect at our space, Rubro, or ask for postage, with shipping to be agreed.

Prices may change and items may sell out between your reservation and our reply. If that happens, we will tell you.

Broadcast and availability

We do our best to stay on air, but this is a community radio station: the stream can fail, programming can change, and the site may be down for maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

The site links to Mixcloud, YouTube, Instagram and others. We are not responsible for what is on the other side.
