Pedro Lucas was born in Faial in 1985 and is part of the generation of musicians who reconfigured traditional Portuguese music, mixing it with electronics, folk, experimentation and contemporary writing. He lived between Lisbon and Copenhagen and developed multiple projects – including O Experimentar Na M’Incomoda and Medeiros/Lucas – always with a keen eye on roots and a permanent will to open new paths.
